1) Make a list of 10 characters.

2) Assign each character a number.

3) Without telling anyone who's on the list or the character's assigned number, get questions from your flist about what they'd like to know about them. e.g. "If 3 and 4 were trapped in a cave together with only a blanket and a toothpick, what would they do?" (The more random the better!)

4) Post the answers and who was who on the list.

This should be interesting. I'm stuck writing, so I'm hoping this might shake something loose.

Ha! I'll just cut'n'paste the questions I just used on someone else's journal. *smirks*

Who would stand up better under torture, 1 or 3?

Would 7 die to save 10?

What do 5 and 6 have in common?

Why would 4 fall in love with 2?

8 and 9 are fighting over where to go on vacation. What are their two choices, who wins and why?

3 would stand up better to torture because in their line of work, they have had some training and experience that would help in the situation. 1 wouldn't last as long because even though their exterior appears rock solid, there are cracks in the facade.

7 would definitely die for 10, and vice versa. They've each come close on several occasions.

5 and 6 both have "special abilities" that neither asked for, and at times, neither wishes they had.

4 wouldn't fall in love with 2. 4 would probably shoot 2 for being too annoying.

In some bizarre accident, 8 ends up in the same town and time as 9. 9 would want to go out to LA and check out the movie scene. When 8 finds out that in the movies, people shoot guns all the time, they decide to go along.

Sid's gave me an idea.

What would it take to make 5 talk under torture?

7 and 2 are in a burning building. 3 can save only one. Which does 3 save and why?

9, 1 and 6 want to play a game. What game do each of them suggest and which one do they end up playing? Who wins?

4, 5 and 8 are friends. Two of them are in love with the third. Who is the point of the triangle and how does it get resolved?

5 would talk under torture if you threaten their family.

3 would save 7 from the building because they have a lot in common and find out that each has gone through a lot of the same things. 2 annoys both of them and is left behind, but is able to devise a way to escape using nothing but a laptop.

1 suggests playing pool. 6 suggests golf. 9 likes movie trivia games. In the end, they all decide to go to the local gun club for some target practice. 9 promises 1 that no one will know they are there.

5 is the point in the love triangle between 4, 5, and 8. In some bizarre twist of fate, 4 and 8 fall in love with each other, and leave on a great adventure. 5 is none the wiser. They are in love with someone else.

Luckily, both 10 and 1 love sweets. They decide to get both of their favorites, and end up snacking on peanut M&Ms and chocolate pecan cookies.

1 and 6 go on a date together. What movie do they see? What kind of place do they go for dinner?

1 and 6 decide to go to a revival of some classic sci-fi movie, probably Star Wars. They would discuss how they each seem to have a lot in common with one of the main characters. They'd then go out to a diner for a burger and fries.

2 and 1 both want to watch TV, but want to watch different shows. Who wins the fight for the remote and what show do they watch?

6 and 8 go to get a cup of coffee together, what do they each order?

In an accident, 5 and 10 somehow swap bodies for 24 hours. What do they each do in that 24 hours?

There wouldn't be a fight because 2 would be too busy on their computer to watch TV. 1 would flip through the channels, and end up on some cheesy horror flick, in which they make fun of.

They both like their coffee strong and black. They need to keep up their energy for the fight ahead.

5 (in 10's body) would go on a great adventure with 10's friends. 10 (in 5's body) would go hunting with 5's family.

Which would be least comfortable in a spaceship? *bg*

Which one would be most likely to be found on horseback? *vbg*

10 would be least likely to join the military, although, they do work closely with the military.

3 would be least comfortable in a spaceship, primarily because they've never seen one. I'm not sure how they would actually react in the situation.

4 is quite comfortable on horseback, but probably doesn't get to ride as much as they'd like to.
