It's been raining here for the past 3-4 days. Thank you so very much, Tropical Storm Lee, for deciding to sit off the coast for a whole day and just spit water at us.
For the most part, it hasn't really been that bad here. Not nearly as bad as down on the coast. Right now, we are getting lots of wind. Fun times.
Well, now for the main purpose of this post. This is what I woke up to this morning:

Actually, it didn't look that bad when I first saw it. This pic was taken about 10 minutes ago. At the top of the pic is a lovely bubble (where the ceiling has actually split). Then further back is where there is actual water dripping. The stain on the far right isn't dripping, yet. Luckily, it's not directly over the bed. Here's the thing. We live in a first floor apartment, and no one lives in the one above us.
I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance man over. He went upstairs and discovered that the window was leaking. So he made sure it was closed, but he couldn't do anything else until the rain stopped. He said they would come back tomorrow and check if it's dry. Once the rain and wind have stopped, they can seal the window better and then repair any damage to the floor, our ceiling.
The fact that it looks worse now than it did when he came does not give me much confidence that it'll be better tomorrow. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Yep, fun times.
