Flute's Moʻolelo

Wow! I haven't posted anything here since March 1st. I also haven't been coming here much lately. I feel so out of the loop. I'm hoping to remedy that.

So, today is my birthday, as most of you know. Well, it started off awesome, then kinda went to hell, and then got awesome again.

First, the morning awesome. There is a story behind this, so sit back, relax and read on. I'm obsessed with Twitter and I spend most of my time over there. I've also dived head first into the Psych fandom. Well, on twitter, there is an account called @Psych_Lassie which is actually Tim Omundson (who plays Lassiter on Psych) tweeting as Lassiter. He popped on last Monday and a group of us Psych-os chatted with him for awhile. I mentioned that my birthday was coming up in a week and it would be cool if he'd give me a shout out. He tweeted me back to remind him. So, yesterday, a ton of my Psych-o friends over there reminded him, and at some point early this morning, after I'd gone to bed, he popped on and wished me a happy birthday. So that's what I woke up to this morning. \o/

Next, the crap. Not one single person at work said a thing to me about it being my birthday. To tell you the truth I wasn't really expecting it, but you know. Also, the 2 people that I knew would say something, weren't there. I knew they weren't going to be there, so I forgive them. LOL

Last, the more awesome. I got home to tons of Facebook wall posts wishing me a happy birthday. I'm also the proud owner of: Season 2 of In Plain Sight, Seasons 1 & 2 of Burn Notice, and Seasons 1 - 3 of Dexter. \o/

So, that's been my birthday so far. There's still several hours left, so anything can happen.
