Too cute! I love fic that has Grace in it. She's a sharp cookie, and would probably figure out her Danno and Uncle Steve should be together long before they did. I picture her rolling her eyes at them because they are so slow about figuring it out on their own. ;)

I've long had this bunny in which Grace gets so frustrated with them, she tries to get Aunt Kono and Uncle Chin to help.

Of course Aunt Kono is just gleeful about helping with that project, but Uncle Chin says something about wanting to make it to his own wedding in one piece.

The only problem I could see is how Gracie could be with Kono and Chin without Danny or Steve around. I think it could be worked around by saying Rachel dropped her off at headquarters for Danny's weekend, but he hasn't made it back yet, so Kono and Chin are doing some short-term babysitting.

The results would end in Danny and Steve walking in to Kono and Gracie with totally "innocent" looks on their faces, while Chin studiously looks at a computer screen and disavows all knowledge of whatever girl talk may or may not have happened. ;)

That would work. Or something like them getting called in on one of his weekends with Grace, and they leave her at HQ with Kono and Chin while they have to go investigate something. Maybe Rachel and Stan are on the mainland or on another island, so that's why he has to take her to HQ with him.
