In other news, I took some Benadryl just a little while ago and I'm starting to feel the effects!! Get ready for Loopy!Flute!!

Well, the day is finally here!! I never thought it would get here! Woohoo!! We're leaving in about an hour to go to the airport! Then we're off to Florida!! It's only been a few years since we've been to Disney, but this will be the first real vacation that me and my hubby have had alone! We're calling it our long awaited Honeymoon (only 3 years late)!! We're staying at the Port Orleans - Riverside resort at Disney. This will be the first time that either of us has stayed at one of the resorts, so it'll be a new experience for us both!

I don't know if I'll have internet access or not while we're there, so this may be may last post until we get back. We'll be back next Monday night sometime! It scares me to think of how much I'll have to catch up on here at LJ if I don't have the opportunity to get online there!! It's worth it though!!

Oh yeah, almost forgot! Looks like I'm going to miss the Half-season premieres of SG-1, Atlantis, and BSG!! Although I'm not happy about this, I'll live!! I'm pretty sure that some people on my flist can help me out!!! ;-)

I'll try and post some pics here when I get back!!

Okay, enough rambling!! I'm off...

We made it through Rita in one piece, although we did lose our electricity! Lost it at about 1 yesterday afternoon, and got it back at around 6 this evening! Not a fun night last night!!

This is so sad! I just can't stay away! I'm posting at school, during one of my breaks! The school has its own network, so hopefully no one will catch on that I'm here during school hours.

This is also my first time to use LJ on a PC. It's a little different than on the Mac I normally use!

Well, better go before I get caught. Not sure what their policies are on such things! Will have to find out!!

Some of y'all already know that I just got a new job. Well, it starts tomorrow morning. I will be substitute teaching at a small town high school as their band director. The real band director broke his ankle a few weeks ago. It's a 45 minutes commute, so I'll have to get up way too fracking early in the mornings for awhile. While I am nervous about it, I'm excited too. It'll be my first actual teaching job. It will only be for a month or so, but it's still experience, and it looks good on the old resume!

This also means that many of my Friday nights will be taken up with football games. This means NO SCIFI FRIDAY!!!!! AAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I have told my mom that it is necessary that she buy a VCR so that she can record all of my shows for me! She said okay, but we'll see!!
